About us

We are a family of 4:  Alberto, Claudia and our 2 sons, with Italian roots. Our dream is to return back to Italy in the future and settle down. So we started to explore the region. For us, Liguria has the best of all: mild climate, picturesque villages, stunning landscapes, activities along the coast, beaches, mountains (hiking/skiing), woods and rivers. When we first visited the place, we directly fell in love with the house, its original features and the stunning view. So in 2021 we bought this beautiful property which we named Casa Verde. In the last 2 years we modernized to our taste, but kept the old elements and its charm. We love the details in our home and our 160m2 terrace with a covered full-equipped outdoor kitchen, the pool area and beautiful views across the valley from various terraces.

The House

Vacation home Casa Verde is a cozy and tastefully decorated  typical Ligurian cottage, dated from 1897. The house offers Wi-Fi (inside and outside area), central heating and all  windows are insulated, fitted with shutters and insect protective blinds. 

The holiday home (tot of 65m2) consists of 2 floors: The top floor is accessible via an indoor or an outdoor stair way. You find the entrance to a hall with storage space, a bathroom with shower, a small living room with open fireplace /flat screen TV and a 3 seat sofa bed (sleeps 2 with a comfortable topper) and  1 bedroom (1 bunk bed 90x200). 

The ground floor can be accessed via 2 entrance: the hall or the kitchen. This is a  well equipped  kitchen diner: 4 pit gas, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dining table with bench and chairs. Here is the second bedroom with beautiful vaulted ceiling (160x200) and  a toilet. Please note that Casa Verde is a traditional rustic country house. There is a high staircase in the house, which we already got used to, but you can also reach the first floor via a wide staircase outside the house.

Outdoor

On our spacious terrace is a large covered veranda/porch of about 24m2. This offers shade and a place to relax on 2 spacious lounge beds while enjoying the stunning mountains view. Here you will also find a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with a cooking island, wood-burning pizza oven, refrigerator and a BBQ. There are 3 more terraces with beautiful views: breakfast terrace, shade terrace, pool terrace. Here is also our above ground swimming pool of  approx. 5.8x2.8x1.40 with an outdoor shower.
